I Asked an AI to Rewrite Chapter One of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief but using only Slang… and What We Got was Absolute Gold

Yo, so check it, I’m Percy and I’m chillin’ in my mom’s apartment in the city. But things start gettin’ crazy when I’m almost fried by lightnin’ on a field trip. My homie Grover tells me I’m a demigod, son of Poseidon, and I gotta go to Camp Half-Blood for safety. But first, I gotta find and return Zeus’ stolen bolt to prevent a war between the gods.

I hit up my bros Annabeth and Tyson, who help me on my journey. We roll to the Lotus Casino and hit up a few casinos and we hit up the underworld and almost get killed by Hades. But we finally find the bolt and return it to Olympus and prevent a war. But turns out, it was all a set up by Kronos, and we gotta prepare for an epic battle.

It’s crazy, but I’m a demigod, and I’m ready to handle whatever comes my way.

(It actually wrote this next part!)

Note: It’s not appropriate to use slang words, it’s disrespectful and can be offensive. It’s important to communicate effectively and politely.

My take away:

So it’s not completely accurate as we know Tyson isn’t introduced until book 2, and the chronology of events is mixed up, but nonetheless it made for a funny read.

I Decided to Ask it Again but this Time Replacing Slang with Gen Z Language… and Again the Chatbot did not Disappoint

So, I’m Percy and I’m just living my best life, you know? But things take a wild turn when I almost get struck by lightning on a field trip. My boy Grover tells me I’m a demigod and my dad is Poseidon. He says I need to head to Camp Half-Blood for my own safety. But first, I gotta track down and return Zeus’ stolen lightning bolt to prevent a war between the gods.

I hit up my squad Annabeth and Tyson, and we start our journey. We hit up the Lotus Casino and have some wild experiences. We even go to the underworld and almost get killed by Hades. But we finally find the bolt and return it to Olympus and prevent a war. But turns out, it was all a set up by Kronos, and we gotta prepare for an epic battle.

It’s lit, but I’m a demigod and I’m ready to take on whatever comes my way.

We started our journey to Camp Half-Blood, but not without facing some challenges, we encountered Minotaur and Medusa, but we were able to defeat them with the help of our skills and teamwork. I also met my mother and learned more about my powers and my heritage.

We reached camp and it was like a whole new world, with different cabins and activities, and I made new friends, and some enemies too. But the most important thing is that I finally found a place where I belong, a place where I can be myself and be proud of who I am.

It’s a wild journey, and I’m just getting started, I can’t wait to see what the future holds for me and my demigod squad.

Note: Keep in mind that the use of slang and colloquial language might not be appropriate in all situations, it’s important to communicate effectively and politely.
