As the sun set over the city, Maria made her way to the park. She had always loved the sound of the water fountain, and tonight was the perfect night to sit and listen to it.
As she approached the fountain, she saw him. Jack was sitting on the edge of the fountain, his feet dipped in the cool water. Maria couldn’t help but stare at the way the water sparkled in the light, and how handsome Jack looked with the water droplets glistening on his skin.
“Hi,” he said, as she sat down next to him.
“Hi,” Maria replied, her heart beating faster.
They sat in silence for a few moments, listening to the sound of the water. But the silence between them was electric.
“I’ve been wanting to ask you something,” Jack said, turning to Maria.
“What is it?” she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
“Will you be my date for the upcoming event?” Jack asked, looking at her intently.
Maria felt her heart flutter, and before she could stop herself, she leaned in and kissed him. It was a kiss filled with passion and desire, and as they pulled away, they both knew that this was just the beginning.
They spent the rest of the evening sitting by the water fountain, talking and laughing, and as the night came to an end, they exchanged numbers and made plans for their first official date.
The water fountain had been the perfect setting for their first kiss and the start of their romance. And every time they passed by it, they would remember that magical night and the spark that started it all.
