Character Profile – The Lost Artefacts: Kristina Silverwood

Kristina Silverwood is a young sorceress with curly black hair, olive skin, and a resilient spirit forged by a difficult life living on the streets of New York City. Following the excommunication of Sorcerers from Abonerra after the Severing, many magic users like her were left homeless and vulnerable, forcing them into lives of poverty, slowly whittling down Sorcerer numbers.

Before her current predicament, Kristina spent time in the foster system, where she briefly shared a home with Liv Sommers. Though their time together was short, the connection would later prove significant when their paths unexpectedly crossed again. Her early life was marked by instability and hardship, leading her to develop a tough exterior and sceptical attitude toward authority figures.

As a Sorceress, Kristina possesses considerable magical talent, channeling her powers through a wand-like artifact. Her magical abilities are potent enough to make her valuable to those with dangerous ambitions, placing her in a precarious position.

Kristina’s personality combines street-hardened cynicism with flashes of compassion. She maintains a sharp wit and defensive sarcasm as protective mechanisms, making it difficult for others to get close to her. Her trust is not easily earned, and she approaches most situations with careful suspicion born from experience.

Family is a central concern for Kristina, particularly her sister, Callie, for whom she fiercely defensive. This devotion to protect her sister becomes a driving force in her decisions and actions.

Despite her circumstances, Kristina maintains her agency and seeks ways to resist manipulation and remain hidden to the world. She exemplifies the struggle of many Sorcerers in the earthly dimension.
